Armed Forces Day

Join us from 10:30am for a FREE action-packed day to celebrate and honour those that serve and have served in the Armed Forces.
Meet local uniformed groups and get up close to vintage military vehicles and memorabilia. Watch Veterans, Cadets, Scouts and Bands parade along South Terrace. With live performances from the Rose and Thistle Pipe Band, Massed Cadet Band, The Silhouette Show, The RAFA 381 Bognor Regis Choir and the Band and Bugles of the Rifles. Plus, unmissable arena displays by the IMPS Motorcycle Display Team and Armoured Vehicles. This event is in aid of the Royal British Legion.
In addition, Military enthusiasts can enjoy an array of military vehicles including a 26 tonne BARV which was used in the beaches of Normandy during the D-Day landings and static replica Spitfire.
Please note that unlike advertised in the programme, there will not be a Spitfire flypast due to a recent incident with BBMF aircraft. However, it is expected a flypast of a Chinook will take place at approximately 11:30 – subject to operational requirements.
