Virtual Christmas Lights Switch on
- 20/11/20
- 17:00 - 20:00
Marking a ‘first’ for Littlehampton, on Friday 20th November residents are invited to participate in a virtual switching on of the Christmas lights.
Taking place at 6pm in the High Street and transforming the Town into a winter wonderland, returning for another year is the Littlehampton branch of the National Elf Service (NES). Everyone is encouraged to take an ‘elfie selfie’ with their favourite elf and to share their snaps on social media with #LAelfie.
Chair of LTC’s Community Resources Committee and self-proclaimed Mr Christmas, Councillor Billy Blanchard-Cooper said: “Although the usual festivities cannot take place, there will be plenty of virtual activities taking place on the LTC Facebook page, as well as entertainment for families to enjoy. Children can hunt for all Santa’s reindeer, which will be hidden in Town Centre shop windows, and youngsters are also encouraged to enter the Mayor’s Christmas card competition – with the chance to win a very special prize!”
Make sure you stay updated with the Littlehampton Town Council’s Facebook page as there will be opportunities throughout December to win amazing prizes!
Details for all the activities will be announced very soon, please visit the Littlehampton Town Council website for more details.
